Step |
Methodology |
1. Mission, Vision & Values
|
Develop and describe the Company's OHS vision and its interaction with business sustainability, production, profitability and the future wellbeing of management and the workforce. |
2. Situational Analysis
|
Identify the current gaps in structures, behaviours, processes and systems and conduct an OHS Health Check on the current status of the business. OHS data analysis is critical to understanding the historical context for present and emerging issues. |
3. Strategic Methodologies |
Analyse and prioritise the findings from the situational analysis. Further, understand the effects of inadequate structures, behaviours, processes and systems and identify the opportunities associated with change to these elements. |
4. Strategic Plan, Documentation & Tools |
Develop strategic planning documentation and strategic management tools which include the implementation of a Leadership Commitment and Behavioural Observation Programme. |
5. Communicate, Implement and Train |
The strategic plan, processes and initiatives are communicated throughout the Company via interactive sessions. The workforce is given ownership of the programme to ensure the initiatives continued growth. |
6. Evaluation & Control |
The Continual Improvement process is implemented. Aspects of change and development are implemented over a period of time. Bench marks are set and monitored on a regular basis. The effectiveness of the processes are monitored to ensure the strategy maintains its currency and validity within the organisation. |
